Patrick Hozza is a Tanzanian based self-taught Wildlife Photographer. His avid love for wildlife, nature, travel and photography centered him to showcase and spread awareness to the world about conservation, the beautiful National Parks in East Africa and its Coast lines. He is a firm believer that PHOTOGRAPHY is a powerful tool that he can use to positively change the perception and narrative that people have about Africa and showcasing the beauty and dignity that surrounds its people.

Hozza has over 10 years’ experience in Wildlife Photography and his travels to different National Parks in Tanzania and Kenya for personal and other intriguing projects has enabled him to gain skills, knowledge and experience in this industry.

The journey has been fascinating, as he has accomplished different assignments including photography projects for different (Hotels, Camps & Lodges), Safari Planning, conducting photographic tour guides to numerous National Parks he has toured, and Wildlife Photography Workshops for Interns under TaWiMA+NOMAD TANZANIA Internship programme.

Hozza.co.tz has been launched for the purpose the purpose of documenting different photographic journeys, wildlife photographic safaris conducted by Patrick Hozza and other affiliated photographers.

The website will also be providing useful Wildlife Photography information on Internship Programmes, workshops and Safaris that he will be undertaking as he fulfills his adventurous Bucket List, teaching Wildlife Photography and working on assignment for different hotels, camps and lodges.

I am a proud member of Tanzania Wildlife Media Association (TaWiMA), an association based in Tanzania that focuses on promoting, supporting, and marketing wild places in Tanzania through film and photography.

TaWiMA provides a platform and support network for citizens to take ownership of the natural resources that make Tanzania a worldwide tourist destination.
